A Poem for Palestine

The sound of war has grown too loud

Innocent children falling to the ground

What if we put humanity before religion

Maybe then, black clouds would disappear

The world wouldn't live in fear

Senseless is war

Children dying, mothers crying

Shaken to the core

Oh Allah, ease their pain

Give wisdom to those

who don't understand

Nothing is ever gained if

it brings is blood and endless pain

Only then, and by Your will

shall peace be attained

Dear Palestine,

We are with you

You will pull through

Allah (سبحانه وتعالىٰ) hears your pleas

So remember

With hardship, comes ease

About

Naseeha Tayob Ibrahim

I speak. I write. I coach.

I want to make the world a better place.

As an avid reader and writer, it’s no surprise that communications became my career and line of work. There is never one thing in particular that defines who I am, except the fact that I am passionate about everything I do. That made me the odd one out most of my life. It made realize how important it is to listen to my heart.
